So, Yesterday

I hate to explain this stuff, but even some friends were left scratching their heads a little bit at my Tumblr posts yesterday.

So, sorry, but here’s what happened.

In one of about a billion posts where someone seemingly wanted to diminish the concept of white privilege, I posted a couple brief comments expressing a bit of frustration at what I thought was a pretty clueless position to take.

This caused some poster to say I was a self-hating white person.

Which I think I was supposed to be insulted by, but instead found absolutely hilarious.

So, making fun of THAT caused my inbox to be flooded with anonymous posts (I only reblogged a few choice ones) that reaffirmed the first poster’s position that I am indeed a race traitor who hates white people and a bunch of junk I also didn’t finish reading in some cases because HOLY SHIT some people are goofballs.

I like white people just fine, some of my best ME are white people.  But white people who think white people are the real victims of racism are too goofy to take seriously.

So I didn’t.
