Thinking of leaving Fet...
I'm a member of fetlife.com (big surprise, right?) and I must say, it's rather disappointing.
I posted this today, entitled Thinking About Leaving Fet...
I really don't see any upsides to staying on this site.
The only people I seem to pleasantly communicate with are people I've already met off-site or people who had been introduced to me by people I know off-site, all of whom are on other sites with me.
The others who communicate with me are the following:
1) People who can't stop talking fet.
2) People who don't understand what a polite rejection is and think that telling me graphic details is the way to make me change my mind.
3) People who live in countries I will never visit who don't understand that 'sensual domination' can not be done on line.
4) People who start their conversations with me by telling me the most graphic things that apparently I'm going to do to them.
5) People who are just gathering friends.
6) Women who are looking for someone to play with them and their husband/master/daddy/etc. Are there no single lesbian/bi women out there?
7) Men who think that because I am a dominant, that means I'm REALLY a switch just waiting to be dominated by THEM.
8) People who are writers who contact me to either a) talk and talk and talk about their work or b) want me to edit their work and give publishing advice (or leads) for free.
9) People who want, Want, WANT to meet me... except they only want to meet me AT MY PLACE or contrarily say under no uncertain terms that they won't come to Staten Island EVER.
10) People who want to learn more about the pack and me, but amazingly seem to be working or busy anytime there is an event.
And then there are the groups, otherwise known as 'Places to play Fuck or Pass'.
I am on a bunch of groups, and it seems like the only time anyone says anything is when it's one of those dumbass games, or when someone wants to wax graphically about the last encounter they had.
And the rare time someone actually does say something, it's rare that anyone besides me responds (kinda like on this group).
As I write this, I know I may get three responses, and they'll be from people I already know and chat with regularly. Which is just another reason why I find Fet rather useless to me.
On top of EVERYTHING else, this site has once more proven to me that trying to reach out to other Staten Islanders that I don't already know is just a waste of time. How skilled am I that I have once again been blackballed from TWO Staten Island groups for being - get this - DOMINANT. Nothing's been officially said, but getting the cold shoulder from everyone, like no responses to anything I comment on or post (and it's the same people on both groups) is a good indication of it.
So yeah, there seems to be no upsides to Fet.
Thoughts?
