As I sit here, watching the predicted storm path for Hurricane Sandy, I am finishing a preliminary reworking of my Christian Romance,
An Unexpected Woman which has, as you may know, been picked up by
The Writer's Coffee Shop Publishing House .
My editorial team sent me fantastic notes and suggestions and I spent this week working on them. Since the novel takes place in Southwest Florida during the spring and summer, it may not surprise you to hear that tropical storms do play a role in the story.
Which is why I was smiling a little as I finished my work today. Hurricanes seem to follow me around, you know? And this one has my name on it. Sort of.
I hope that if you are in my quasi-namesake's path, that you are safe and sheltered in the coming days.
Until next time,
~Sandi
