Now to using personal experiences in your writing. Wait a minute. Use your personal experiences in fiction? Um...isn't it supposed to be, well, um...fiction?



The answer? Yes and no.



Yes, the story, situations, and characters need to be made up. A figment of your imagination. Off the top of your head.
