Character Interview with Michael Talbot and Giveaway

Hi my name is Mark Tufo I am the author of The Spirit Clearing and the Zombie Fallout series along with some other books. I have been tasked with the job of interviewing the lead character from both, Michael Talbot.
Mark - First off I wanted to say thank you Mike for taking time out of your day to do this interview with me.
Mike - You’re most welcome, umm no I’d rather not shake your hand.
Mark - (At this point I realized that word of Mike being a card-carrying germ-a-phobe was not exaggerated) So it’s true what they say about you being afraid of germs?
Mike - Hell Mark, I bet you don’t even know where that hand has been and you want me to shake it?
Mark - (At this point I sniffed my hand, it smelled fine by the way) Do you mind if I ask how many phobias you have?
Mike - It’s not a phobia if it can hurt you, anyone ever die from falling from a low? No they die from falling from heights. And germs, don’t get me started on those, just because you can’t see them doesn’t mean they can’t kill you.
Mark - (At this point Mike pulled out a packet of travel sanitizer cloths to wipe his hands and the arms of the chair he was sitting in.) Okay let’s move on, a lot of folks think that you and I are cut from the same cloth what do you think? (Mike spent a lot of time looking me up and down before he spoke.)
Mike - I guess there’s some initial similarity there but you for sure haven’t been through the hell I have been and until you’ve done that there’s no telling how you’d come out on the other side.
Mark - Fair enough. Okay so I’m going to throw some softball questions at you so that you can hit them out of the park. You ready? (He nodded.) If there was one thing you could change in your long and storied life what would it be?
Mike - That’s softball? You throw a life altering question at me and call that easy? This is something that could have radically changed my life, whatever man, not sure where you got your interviewing skills, must have been a mail order degree. Okay so if I could change one thing I guess it would be to have parked my Jeep closer to the jailhouse in Vona.
Mark - Ahh the classic Red Jeep Wrangler, you still miss that thing? Wasn’t it like 10 years old or something when you lost it?
Mike - I JUST told you that if I could change one thing in my life that would be it, what do you think? Are your questions going to get any better than this? Otherwise I’m outta here.
Mark - Sorry (Mike was just glaring at me - it’s not my damned fault he lost his beloved Jeep) So I heard there’s been talk of making your zombie stories into a movie who do you think could play the perfect Mike Talbot.
Mike - Me.
Mark - Do you act?
Mike - Fine, How about Daniel Day-Lewis but only when he was the cool Indi...Native American in Last of the Mohicans. Not the movie where his hair was cut and he was wearing glasses.
Mark - That’s a stretch (I mumbled - he stood), that would work, please sit, i’m almost done. Your journals have been inspirations to a lot of us, the things you and your family have persevered through, and through it all your faithful dog Henry stood by you, is there any other dog besides Bullies that you love?
Mike - I love all dogs, except for maybe Doberman Pinschers but that’s a painful childhood memory I’d rather not revisit, other than that dogs are awesome but Henry, excuse me King Henry is unique we’ve saved each other a few times, I owe that dog more than I could ever repay him, and I will always be indebted to him.
Mark - Well Mike I just wanted to say it was an honor interviewing you today, (I stood and once again extended my hand, he merely shook his head as he stood and walked away, I overheard him talking as he left the studio.)
Mike - You believe that guy BT? I could have done a better job of interviewing myself.
BT - Forget him man, I’ll go buy you a box of Pop-Tarts.
Mike - Blueberry.
