Ich Habe Kopfweh

That's about all the German I remember from a whole year of it. (Well, that and "Ich bin müde." I had it the last period of the day.)

I am sick with some kind of virus that's going around and have gotten very little done for several days. I've also been somewhat discouraged about art due to feeling like I wasn't selling much lately, but when I printed out eBay packing slips just now and saw I have seven paintings to ship, I realized I was being a whiny ass. An ASSS. (Little New Orleans City Council joke for the local political geeks reading.)

Since I posted the Nothing and Zillah character portraits, a couple of people have asked for ones of Rickey and G-man. I'll try, but I warn you, when I tried to paint Ghost, he came out looking unsuitably insane, and also rather babydoll-colored -- I haven't really mastered the skin tones of non-gothy white people. So it may take some practice before I come up with anything I'm not embarrassed to show.
