Friday Snippets: Hakon

A long (long) time ago, I started writing a prequel to Trinity. In fact, it was so long ago that it was actually a prequel to Guardian, not Trinity. My ideas about what should happen in the prequel have changed, but I still like the snippet I've posted below.
