Karen Wow, I could not believe when I went to the author's blog she is a christian. She says she and others drew closer to God with this book. God of this world maybe.Even if you state this is fiction, wresting scriptures even in a wishful thinking take is dangerous for saved and lost. many were damaged by Dan Brown and he never claimed for it that he was a Christian did he? and the Shack? The way to get famous and make money though is twist the truth of
God. Fit him in the box of you own wrong thoughts as a Christian or give the lost means to embrace perhaps the wrong Jesus and or God.

Mary Findley It's sad, Karen. She claims she got it from God, and you can't argue with people who go by emotions and experiences over the authority of Scriptures. We are fb friends and she was very gracious about this. She said she has taken a lot of heat for this but won't back down. :-(

Karen I wondered if you had met her.

Mary Findley Yes, we belong to a fantasy, sci-fi writer's group, and she really wanted me to read the book. She even gave me another 200+ page explanation of why she wrote it, and I tried to read some of that, too. She is a very sweet person, and I have already been attacked on the Amazon forums for saying she's a heretic. I didn't say that, but she's playing around with heretical views and calling it fiction.
