We’ve enjoyed another great boating season… a couple of mishaps that added to our bill when we had the boat hauled out recently. Our generator quit on us at a convenient time, too. Add more bucks on the bill for that repair. I say these things only to show you how ‘normal’ our boating season was. Now, the Serial Killer Crab? THAT was unusual. See, Steve and I have been working on a way to save live Dungeness Crab, to eat later…or to provide a feast for guests. We caught our limit of 10 male, big crabs and took great care to provide fresh salt water for them when we were underway and placing them underwater in their ‘crab condo’ when we moored or anchored. But we hadn’t counted on a serial killer crab, the biggest fellow in the bunch. Every night he’d de-claw yet another cellmate; he eviscerated one more fellow. In a week’s time, we were down to three crab. Imagine the satisfaction we took in eating that turkey serial killer crab? He was delicious!
