Charmeine shot up like a bullet in the sky shocking Temple Guards on her left and right.
Tabbruis was trying to strike them down as she stunned them.
Shane was glorious, shocking with his left hand and slashing the Temple Guards with his right handed sword.
She saw Neal and Dmitri fighting in combat. Their swords were landing death blows on the Guards. Neal was easily slicing through the bodies with his brute strength.
Thomas was fighting but also monitoring the perimeter alarms on his wrist screen.
A Temple Guard rushed on Tabbruis and the Temple Guard bit into his back but the Kevlar suit made it difficult to grab a hold of his skin. Tabbruis in one fell swoop beheaded the Temple Guard. Tabbruis was hit hard from behind by another guard and he landed on the ground. Two Temple Guards came to attack him.

Charmeine came down to the ground distracting them and she winked at them and said, “Oh boys, over here. Come to Mama.”
Not only did the two Temple Guards come but four more came. Charmeine was deflecting blows and stunning them and slicing into necks making them bleed.
Tabbruis was in awe, but had two Guards to deal with of his own.
No Temple Guard was a match for Charmeine! The more Temple Guards that came to attack her, the more she littered the ground with their bodies. Charmeine saw the Elder Council become nervous and concerned because the squad was beginning to advance on them. She radioed, “The Elder Council look like they will escape before the meteor storms will hit. I have to stop them.”
Tabbruis yelled, “Charmeine, do not go without me!”
Charmeine hollered, “I have to! I’m going to try something… I have to stop them!”
Tabbruis shouted, “No!”
Charmeine flew down to the ground and with her lightning; she formed a circle around the Elder Council and herself.
One Elder Council member threw himself up against the lightning and the shock of the impact threw him down making him have a convulsion burning like he was on fire from the inside out. He screamed in agony.
At that moment, Pascal came up to her ready to strike. He said, “You will suffer for this Charmeine.”
Charmeine smiled and said, “Go ahead Pascal and touch me. I would really love it. This time if you put your hands on me, I won’t heal you like I did in Hell. You will burn like you should have in Hell! So, I take it you don’t want to suffer the same fate as your friend there?”
Pascal’s eyes flew open stared at her with intense hatred.
She said, “Oh yes, I remember you! You are supposed to be in Hell with Lucifer in the Lake of Torment and Fire, but you grabbed me on the way to the Portal to Earth. You are the one who will suffer Pascal. Tonight you will die!”
Tabbruis saw Charmeine was covered by her lightning, and no one could touch it or her, and he thanked God.

Charmeine heard over the radio Neal saying, “There are too many of them. We cannot hold them off.” Charmeine felt like she should be out there to protect her family. Her face became worried and upset. Pascal could see in her eyes she was getting concerned. He was looking around at the Temple Guards fighting her family and they were tiring.
Pascal turned and said, “Ah yes, my dear Charmeine. You want to help them do you not? You want to save your family from our Temple Guards? I can call them off and your family will be saved. All you have to do is come with us and your family will be left alone. Tsk, tsk, is not your life such a small price to pay for your family’s life? Come now, put down this shield and let us renew our past acquaintance, shall we?”
Charmeine was beginning to tire expending all the energy it took for the circle to maintain its force.
Just then she heard Thomas radio, “We have a perimeter alert! We have guns!”
Charmeine gasped, “God help us!”
Tabbruis radioed, “Charmeine, the bullets will penetrate your lightning! You must take cover now!”
Charmeine said loudly in a booming voice, “Hold your ground everyone! Have faith!”

Neal radioed, “Man down! Thomas has been shot in the arm! I am covering for him!”
Shane radioed, “Someone cover me while I take the gunmen out with my rifle!”
Charmeine was trying to keep the shield up.
Dmitri radioed, “Damn it! I was shot but I am still able to fight! The Kevlar helped deflect the bullet!”
Tabbruis yelled while still fighting the Guards, “Charmeine take cover, please!”
Charmeine kept her arms out still using her shield to hold the Elder Council.
Pascal then said yelled, “It is useless Charmeine! Come with me! My sweet child, I will not kill you. I will marry you, and we and we can rule the world together to fulfill the prophecy. The humans will be crushed under us! God will not be able to stop our powers put together!”

Charmeine screamed, “Never!”
Pascal snarled at her and said, “Such insolence! You will die like that little black-haired bitch if you do not give up this farce and join me,” and he said with black desire in his eyes for her, “I have such plans for our wedding night…”
Charmeine said, “Oh God, do you wanna make me puke? You are really making me sick now. I will never join with you! I will never marry you! Tabbruis is my husband and more importantly, God is my strength! I may be weak, but I am God’s warrior and his power flows through me!”
