I recently asked listeners like you about the first time you tasted a Chick-Fil-A sandwich. In talking with my friend, Crazy Wayne, who is celebrating his 40th year with Chick-Fil-A, we got to remembering the first time we ate that famous tasty sandwich.
For me, it was through my girlfriend. She grew up eating at the Chick-Fil-A in the mall. My town had none. She saw a new standalone Chick-Fil-A on North Druid Hills Road here in Atlanta. In fact, it was the first standalone location they ever opened. We went together and she was right. It was great!
And not long after, I asked her to marry me.
