Seems I'm coming out of a small cocoon. Hadn't really
thought of it that way, but mostly, I've been hunkered down with the newspaper, not writing much but stuff for
that, working on
Radius and
BILiNE, and only feinting at poems and stories. Seem to be coming out of that. New stuff written, old projects back under way. Nice to be getting back in the swing of things.
This Sunday, I'll be doing
a Halloween reading in Sleepy Hollow, New York, alongside poet Dave Macpherson and novelist Terry Rich Blazes. Dave and I will be reading excerpts from
Aim For the Dead: A Zombie Hunter's Guide to Poetry, as well as our own work. Blazes will be reading from a novel called
Lizard World. It all sounds terribly fun and spooky.

Also, in poetry-related news, Lea and I both have poems online in

. There's lots of other great poems up there, too. Check it out!
