Made it out to the last night of Worcester Storytellers yesterday. Shame to see the reading go: I always appreciate a room where both longer, prosier writing and shorter, more delicate work go over well. Dave Macpherson did a wonderful job with the place, and ended on an uproariously upbeat note with a presentation by "The Penny Players," doing such hits as "How to Strip For Your Husband" and the piece about a drunken Santa Claus crashing into a Jewish Senior Center. Good times ... good times...
