Ah, okay, that’s interesting.


Yeah, it’s true, comics (and all media) routinely get culture wrong and it’s frustrating.


It’s a weird thing…most comics are written by ostensible liberals, but you will OFTEN see youth movements portrayed through what seems to me to be a very conservative filter. Like, it always seems, “oh, those wacky kids!” 


It’s odd.


And I can’t remember the last time I saw actual punk culture portrayed well in a mainstream comic. Huh.


Anyone got an example?
