Adina tried to comfort her friend. “You were screaming… six minutes, Enly. Don’t you remember?”
“No,” Enly shook her head, tears streamed down her face. ”You’ve got it all wrong. There was a brilliant light. It filled the room…” Enly placed a hand over her heart, ”it filled me.”
Adina stepped back and looked over at her brother, then at Dodge.
Enly smiled. ”She spoke to me, Adina. I heard her. She made the pain go away. All of it.”
