Five Words

I’m putting you back in the classroom today–in the dreaded (at least for me) poetry writing unit. :)


Pick a subject (like autumn or winter or something) and throw out five words that describe your word…giving each one a rhyming word to go with it. If you form an actual poem (funny works, too) in the process, we’ll be ultra impressed. If not, that’s okay, too.


I’llstart one here with Autumn (reminding you all that I stink at poetry).


Tree–Free.

Color–duller. :)

Breeze–wheeze.

Crisp–whisp.

Crunch–brunch...
