A New Direction
Hey there. Welcome to my new blog. I’ve been writing for quite a while but am in the midst of totally changing direction, so it only seems right to start a new blog now.
All of my previous work was non-fiction but I just moved into the fiction world with the release of my first novel, "Promise Road". I’m busy trying to figure out the marketing plan. Selling fiction is a slightly different process from selling non-fiction.
In a couple of weeks, I’ll be doing a radio advertising blitz in my hometown, where the novel is based. Several commercials will be aired throughout the week of October 22 and I’ll also be interviewed on the John Foster morning talk show.
I’ve been stressing over how to best promote this book but now it’s starting to get fun. I’m looking forward to the interview. Unless something unforeseen happens, it will take place on Tuesday, October 23, at 8:45 a.m.
