Hi Laurie - if it makes you feel better, I have an entire room dedicated to unread books. I can generally get through 2 books a week. I therefore have 4.7 years worth of unread books in the Unread Bookroom. It's a good thing I married a cabinet maker!

It DOES make me feel better. Dangerously so. I may just feel sufficiently exonerated to buy a few books tomorrow...
I too have ??? years worth of books sitting on my bookshelves - and still I buy more! I remember our Midland Educational Centre in Wolves - fantastic shop!
My to read list on here is 70 books long - of which probably 20 are sitting at home waiting for me to read and 30 are on the kindle (and that's only the ones on the kindle that I've added on here). I've also got a sack of library books. And I too skip over books that are in the list to get new and more appealing purchases.
