Eight Rules of Writing by Neil Gaiman

“The main rule of writing is that if you do it with enough assurance and confidence, you’re allowed to do whatever you like. (That may be a rule for life as well as for writing. But it’s definitely true for writing.) So write your story as it needs to be written. Write it ­honestly, and tell it as best you can. I’m not sure that there are any other rules. Bouncing around the internet I uncovered these rules of writing by Neil Gaiman they do make some interesting reading especially if you are a writer yourself. It kind of follows my rules of writing below.

Nick Davis’ Rules of Writing

1. Just write.

2. It is your world if up is down and down is up that is entirely fine you own it with no explanation needed ever!
