While gone, youngest, who is old enough, did not find the key to the house and let herself in Fri, 19:53 : It was right where we told her, but did she really look? No. Parent nightmare. Kids who don't look. Fri, 19:54 : Then middle kid comes home from work, 1 and 1/2 hrs late because his commute driver abandoned him at work. Fri, 19:55 : Meanwhile, we warned them we'd be gone that day. But daughter is not in house to take calls from her brother. Fri, 19:55 : Eventually brother gets a ride from one of the head honchos at the job, comes home, finds key in ten seconds, right where it should be. Fri, 19:56 : And right where she looked, very, very superficially. Fri, 19:56 : I was not amused. This was something I took great pains to prevent, including making sure the key was there. Fri, 19:56 : And on top of that, she insisted she knew where it was. Fri, 19:57 : This is one of the reasons I stay at home usually, terrified one of the kids will fuck up getting home safe.
