It took me just under a year with time off for research and fretting. Everyone has a different way of working, but my best advice would be to stop revising and just get a complete draft out of the way. My first draft had questions written into the text, multiple versions of the same scene, etc. Just turn off the internal editor and barrel through. You can do it!
