The Seafarer

Saw the Burning Coal Theater production of Connor McPherson's The Seafarer last night with Melinda and numerous friends (including the production's sound designer, the mighty Steve Burnett). The short version is simple: excellent production of a very good play, and I didn't even have to dig out my copy of The Complete Anglo-Saxon Poetry (Penguin Edition) from senior year at Wesleyan to figure out what the heck was going on.
