The Laws of Attraction

I don’t know who to name this one after, and calling it “Swanson’s Law of Attraction” seems a bit narcissistic. Let’s go with “Fillion’s Law of Attraction,” both because if I have a Hollywood man-crush it’s on Nathan Fillion and because it will invariably please my geekier friends.

I drew this over a year ago so I figure that it’s safe to release to the world. It’s funny how this concept seems to be close to universal; at least it connects well with the random few I’ve shared it with. Either that or it makes me look like a complete ass.

In summery, the only people we ever find attractive are the ones we can’t have. So if someone doesn’t find you attractive, make yourself unavailable and apparently that should do something to remedy the situation. I’m sure someone already wrote an extensive paper on this and I’m stealing it for my own ‘law,’ but I doubt they drew such a convincing diagram.

Feel free to share it to your heart’s content! And let me know of any other pertinent laws I might want to figure out a diagram for, I’m in a diagram-y mood.
