This is both a small question and a very big one, If you were asked to take over as publisher of DC Comics, would you accept?

My first response was, “absolutely not.”

Then I gave it some careful thought and decided, “absolutely not.”

I’m a writer, I like telling stories, that’s what I enjoy about what I do. I don’t consider myself a teacher or an editor, and truthfully, I get very uncomfortable editing other people’s work. I start to think, “who am I to tell this person how to tell their story?”

Plus, I don’t have any of the skills required to do that job. And it’s nightmarishly difficult. 

It’s just not for me at all, I’m afraid.
