In this book, Briane Greene brings the physical world, in all its micro and macro intricacies, to life. He clearly and enthusiastically presents quantum physics, the fabric of space, string theory and multiple dimensions in a way that makes sense.  He uses excellent examples to explain certain points and graphics that are very helpful indeed.

Using chapters with titles like, “Of Warps and Ripples”, “The Smoking Gun: Experimental Signatures”, and “Tearing the Fabric of Space”, Greene is able to coax the reader into taking this journey with him. In the process, the reader is both educated and entertained.

In addition to this book’s ease of accessibility for the average person, it contains excellent end notes, a good glossary of scientific terms, references and suggestions for further reading, and a detailed index.
