Lucky Seven Challenge

I'm a bit excited...but that happens often after too much coffee.

I've been invited by Kelly Bowerman to join in the Lucky Seven post.

Here’s the challenge. Post seven lines from an unpublished work of fiction.
• Go to page 7 or 77 in your current manuscript (fiction or non-fiction)

My seven come from page 77 of my current WIP Concealed Desire.

“I didn’t realise you were providing entertainment. I would have brought popcorn otherwise.” Her throat grated but the words came out etched in confidence. He would not break her resolve.

He chuckled at her response, the deep tone of his voice making her core clench, her nipples harden. “I’ll take pleasure in entertaining you, Beth.” And with that, he angled around for more body wash.

Unable to resist staring, she looked at him, really looked at him...
