Playing a small imaginary me

I'm so behind.
In LA. Working hard, meeting people, sorting things out, the usual. Woke up this morning to a phone call from my agent, letting me know that CORALINE had been nominated for an Oscar. It would be nice if UP won Best Picture and CORALINE took Best Animated Picture, but truthfully, I do not believe that will happen.

It WOULD be great if "Coraline" took Best Animated Picture!!!

My grown son loved that movie so much he now teases my daughter in law that he wants her to color her hair blue! (She DID go out and buy a cheap blue wig at a costume store to shut him up!)

Coraline is my grandsons' and young niece's favorite movie!!! (For the moment ... you know kids ...)

I loved the movie "Stardust", so I went and bought the book, knowing the book is always better. I've only just started to page through it (I always page through a book before reading it) and can tell it is going to be quite different from the movie.

My husband told me he heard or read one of your interviews and that you said the book (Stardust) was inspired by the rock walls of Ireland and a shooting star in Arizona or New Mexico. THAT was when your name, as an author, caught my attention. Because THAT was when I knew you had imagination and were a TRUE storyteller!!!

Congratulations on the nomination!!!!

Kerry I adored the book Coraline, but only liked the movie. (sorry, neil) I would love to see Up win, can't remember the last line that moved me as much as "I was hiding under your porch, because I love you" I cried!

Cecilia That is so cool that the movie "Coraline" has been nominated for an Oscar. I've not seen the movie but really enjoyed the book!

Good Luck, Neil! Maybe you'll be surprised on Oscar night!

All my best--Cecilia
