Ten Questions with… Lynn Hardy
Everyone please help me welcome Lynn Hardy to the blog today to answer Ten Questions!

Author Bio: Led by a series of dreams and encouraged by friends, I began the journey to become an author. I stored my work in a computer file labeled “second job.” Writing began as a passion I could not contain and has become much more than I ever expected.
Prophecy of the Flame – Book One became #1 on Amazon Kindle in 2010, shortly after Book Two released. There has been talk of a movie: I finished a rough of the screenplay for Book One in 2012.
I have attended many science fiction conventions and have had the privilege of serving on panels about writing. Renaissance fairs are another favorite event. Seeing others dressed in costume (as I always am during book signings) makes me feel right at home.
Really, though, I am just a stay-at-home mother of two. The road has been longer and more complicated than I would have ever guessed–not always smooth, but filled with wonderful surprises. Like most stories, I am sure that the journey has only just begun.

About the Writer
1. What five words describe you?
Dedicated, passionate, funny, kind, and helpful
2. What was the first story you ever wrote? I mean the really bad one we all have that you’re trying to hide in the back of closet now that you’re published?
When I was in high school our teacher had us write a story about household appliances. I created a “Romeo and Juliet” tale around the broom and vacuum.
3. What inspires you?
Like many authors my stories are based on my dreams. It’s an endless supply of crib notes; sometimes I feel like I’m cheating.
4. What distracts you?
The internet. My Facebook page, Twitter, My blog, not to mention all the games. My favorites are; Bejeweled, Zuma, Words with Friends, and Bubble Safari. I can waste an entire day if I’m not careful.
5. What’s your favorite story? This can be specific, as in a particular book or even story-driven movie, or general, like “I’m a sucker for a hero looking for redemption story.”
I can’t really say that I have a favorite. I love good stories, and story. nice solid plots, twists and turns, sad ending or happy endings – I love them both. For me, it’s the journey, the scenery along the way. If it’s told right, you get to leave this world for a brief moment.

About the Writing
1. Tell us about your currently available titles.
I’ve released to book so far:
Prophecy of the Flame – Book One
Prophecy of the Flame – Book Two
They used to have subtitles, but I removed them for my male readers. I found out that most men are really uncomfortable with carrying a book around with “Love” on the cover. Technically the subtitles are:
Love’s Dawning and Love’s Price.
Now I just put that on the inside cover.
2. What’s your favorite part about writing these stories?
I love sharing the worlds I visit each night while I sleep with others. I get very focused when I sit at a keyboard and go into “Author Mode.” My kids often have to call my name several times to get my attention once I’m deep into another world.
3. What would your characters say to you? Be honest!
Reba – Don’t worry, it will turn out as it is supposed to be in the end.
Prince Szames – True strength comes from within. Doubt not, your supply is quite adequate.
Prince Alexandros – Taking my hand he’d whisper in his sexy bedroom voice, “A heart such as yours is wasted if not shared.” Of course, I’d fight not to swoon into his arms – regardless of a husband standing outside.
Princesses Rose – Follow your heart, it will seldom lead you astray.
Jamison – Don’t expect to ride the rad waves until you’ve been tossed by a few.
Jerik the dwarf – Stand firm, hold true until the end.
Allinon the Druid Elf – Just who do you think you are? The next JK?
Charles the Prince Charming – Girl, take what life gives you and dive in with both feet – You only live once!
4. Who would play your favorite character if they made a movie of their story?
Have you seen my blog? In case you missed the link above, check out the post about the Dream Cast for the upcoming Prophecy of the Flame movie. Vote for your favorite with a comment and let Hollywood what you think before the role is cast! http://lynnhardy.blogspot.com/
5. Do you have any projects currently in the works you want to talk about?
Do I have some projects…. OMG do I have some projects!
1. The movie project is under way for Book One.
2. Book 2.5 – Love’s Reward: It’s a bridge book due to release in a month or so.
3. Book 3 – Love’s Journey: Due out this winter
