Wakeland's War - Finally!

Wakeland's War started out as an entry for a short story competition. It made semi-finalist, but didn't win. 
From its conception I thought the story was begging to be fleshed out into an entire novel, but my children were very little at the time, so I never quite found the time. Fast forward five or six years, when I'm no longer restrained by word limits and the kids are now in school, the tale it was meant to be has finally come to life.
