Today I busted through a stall in R3 simply by applying Tressa Green's #2sentenceminimum. It's more like a ten sentence minimum for me, but basically, I wrote the minimum no matter what for the past three days. The stall was my uncertainty how to mesh the current scene with the next planned development of the plot. Yesterday and today, I fell back on my only strength and pantsered my way through my minimums. And there it was, the paragraph that meshes the scenes.
Gotta give pantsering credit as a viable writing skill. None of my stories would have been written without it. I'm not a 100% pantser, except at the keyboard. Bad thing to forget. Rule: at keyboard, pantser; all other places, plot, plot, plot. It took me how long to figure that out about me? Kinda embarrassing to say.
Oh, here.
Pantser definition. I kinda like learning the roots of words. I blame my grade 12 English teacher, a stern, brilliant Shakespearean actress disguised as an educator.
