sir-robert:
What I’m holding isn’t just a vinyl record.
It’s a vinyl record that contains me within its grooves.
My music, my voice, my hands playing my instruments.
A beautiful musical moment, pressed and preserved for good.
Of course, it’s one of many beautiful, amazing songs pressed onto two unique vinyl records
(the vinyl is 100% recycled vinyl - no two records are alike in their color design)
This is still so very surreal, and it’s sinking in how real this really is.
It’s so crazy that a little instrumental song I created in my dad’s garage last summer, is now pressed on vinyl, probably being played right now by someone, somewhere.
Fucking. Insane.
I share this awesome moment with the talented people I worked with on ‘Diamond in the Rough‘
and many thanks to my fellow producers & collaborators on the vinyl (Dr. Gory, KamPAIGN, Matt Conely, KrrrSchmidt, Metaphorest, Malicore, Ryan Patrick,
and, of course, Joe)
Thanks guys.
Long live vinyl.
