As we walk through our life...our Christian life...it is easy to say such comments as, "God is good", or "God's timing is always perfect", in order to convey to others we are people of faith. But, how easy is it to sit down with friends and co-workers and tell them our own personal story or where we were and how our faith in the saving grace has brought us to the point we are now? Do we let them see us as we show them the raw emotions, sometimes filled with tears, showing them just how real our salvation experience was? Do we show them the brokenness and place of surrender we were at..at the very moment of asking Christ into our heart?
Does the joy that has filled our hearts since that day come shining through as just a flicker of light or does it flood the atmosphere of the room so much that it draws them in...closer to Christ?
These are some of the questions that fill my mind as I write the characters in my manuscripts. Each saved character relates to their day of salvation as either the flicker of light or the flood of light. I wonder....which character are you?
