All hyperbole aside, I'm really pleased with how this book turned out. It's exciting and unflinchingly violent and reasonably accurate with both Noir storytelling and Norse mythology. It's tantalizingly full of Norse myths yet explains everything you need to know about the subject to enjoy the story within the story.
