Here's one of the reason's I haven't been around much.
The rest under the cut.
I made a comment on a friend's post the other day and she wanted to know where in heck I've been hiding. It dawned on me that I haven't said boo since the release of
Daddio last July.
To recap-the evil day job has been very challenging. My assistant of seven years up and quit with only two weeks notice. Finding someone to replace her was very difficult. Training and dealing with a lot of crap I haven't had to deal with in years has drained the life out of me. It's put extra stress on my hands which are already rotten to begin with (carpal tunnel).
Sundays are usually reserved for my darling grandson who turns one next month. Can you believe it? Wasn't I just announcing his birth? He's already walking and pulling my books off the lower shelves. Thank goodness I get to wave goodbye at the end of the day:)
Here's another photo of the little hellion. Don't get me wrong-I love him with all my heart but babies are a lot of work!
Now it's September and I'm getting ready to start the official edits for my first historical,
Mayon, which will release some time in November. I have no blurb or book cover to share at this time, but I will, as soon as I get more info.
My crazy writing schedule continues, despite the wonky hands, simply because it keeps me sane. My wonderful muse is whispering in my ears and I'd be a fool to ignore her.
A quick "thank you" to everyone who's bought, read, and commented on "Daddio". I'm very glad you enjoyed the book:) It was fun to re-visit that universe.
Till the next one...everyone be safe, healthy, and happy.

I swear there's no way your grandson can be one - he was just born a few weeks ago, right?! Bummer about the assistant and your hands. :(
