The Patricians: Announcing Availability of GEDCOM File

It may not change the course of human history, but at least The Patricians may be destined to reflect a new version.

I'm sure there are many of you following The Patricians blog who would love to get a hold of the master file, which now contains over 35,000 names. In my opinion, it forms an unprecedented basis of ancestral research for anyone with whom I share a common ancestral relationship.

If you're interested in acquiring the current master file, simply send me an email to request purchase a copy. All I ask in return is some form of compensation ($100) for the herculean effort I personally put forth to develop the file. Those interested in only the GEDCOM file, which excludes media, can acquire a copy of that master file for only $50.

www.retopia-ltd.com.

I'll announce its availability shortly after establishment there.

Other than the cost to acquire the master file, you can expect to incur Ancestry.com costs to establish your online presence of your family tree and any other valuable software charges to "sync" it with your own PC, etc. Thereafter, you only need to upload the file to your family tree site and, thereafter, emend it as you see fit.
