Lessons We Can Learn from TV's Female Detectives

I have written several blog posts about the female detectives who we have come to know through our television screens every week. From Law and Order to Medium to The Closer, it is wonderful to see so many strong women portrayed in a profession that has traditionally been dominated by men. I like to think that Emily Stone, the main character in my novels, would be able to hold her own with these women in her emotional and physical strength as well as her determination to find justice.
