Did I really see that?

Yes, I know I posted this on Facebook and Twitter last night, but I’m still so excited.

Last night when I visited the Space.com blog (I subscribe in Google Reader), I was checking out some of the video’s including Neil Armstrong’s “One small step” clip, when I saw something that made me squeal with excitement.

My book, The Zurian Child, was being advertised on the page. Wow, just wow! I think I stopped breathing for a moment. Then, before I passed out, I somewhat gained my bearings, then had to figure out how to take a screen shot. I knew if I reloaded, another ad would be up.

So, I finally figured it out after googling it, and here is the screenshot:

Thank you, Kobo, Space.com, and Silver Publishing!!

James Piper I've seen that happen as well. At some point you were on Kobo viewing your book and behind the scenes all sorts of data about your visit was being stored and shared. Then when you go to another site that is not Kobo but is pushing ads for them, they put two and two together reminding you about a book you viewed with the hopes this time your click and buy it. They don't know it's your book though.

Since you’re using Chrome, Google is storing all sorts of data about your browsing habits.
