First Post Many More To Follow

So clearly by the title you can tell this is my first time posting on my Good reads blog. I already have two other blogs and also a collaborative blog I contribute to. For a while I figured maybe I shouldn't have one here too.

Then I threw that theory out of the window and pressed down the lock. I want readers and good reads friends to have every opportunity possible to get to know me. I don't want to ever be known as an author who is too private and closed off. I am a very open person and want to be perceived as such.

So, a little about me...

I am twenty-eight years old and have a birthday coming up on the twentieth of September. I actually just had my ten year high School reunion... YUCK! Don't get me wrong, it was a blast. My only problem with it was that it made me feel totally old. I seriously wanted to come home and check for grey hairs.

Luckily I couldn't obsess about that too much since I can't see the grey hairs even though I really wanted to. That's one good thing about my blindness. No matter how quick the aging process may be creeping up on me, I don't have to witness it.

I have two amazing daughters that I normally refer to online as Princess and Peanut. Princess is the oldest and getting ready to start Junior High in a few weeks. Which I might add, is another note worthy reason for wanting to count my grey hairs. Peanut is going to be four soon and getting ready to start pre-school.

I also have an adorable Shorkie puppy named Jasper. He will be two in January and we love him oh so very much. He has a spunky spit-fire personality that you can't help but gush over. He only weighs eight pounds and yet has the strength of a St. Bernard.

I am very close to my family and close group of friends. I would do anything for them even if that meant walking through fire. They mean everything to me.
So there you go, here is a little about me. I will post more and am also more than okay with receiving messages if you think of something I haven't talked about.
