Juan Luna did more than paint on the walls of his prison cell in Fort Santiago. His brother Antonio was also implicated in the Philippine Revolution of 1896. They were treated quite well: Antonio had books and writing materials, Juan was allowed his paint box resulting in this picture now preserved in the National Museum.
