Following Atticus

I really enjoyed the book, Following Atticus: Forty-Eight High Peaks, One Little Dog, and an Extraordinary Friendship by Tom Ryan. So when I saw Tom was speaking at Kennebooks in Kennebunk yesterday, Julia and I drove down to hear him and meet  his dog, Atticus.

We got there early enough to get a front row seat and at one point Atticus came and rested right at my feet. You *know* I couldn't reisist giving him a little rub behind the ears.
