i love when a hot guy who had some really bad things happening in his childhood, suddenly meets a girl who has some secrets about her past. Or sometimes i love when a guy and a girl work together as FBI/SCI ( they are partners) and they have a murder problem to solve, they go on missions and do dangerous things.

First, I tend to go in sub-genre spurts. Reading Paranormal at the moment. Second, I think it depends on the sub-genre what I prefer. In paranormal, I like a "stricken" hero saved and redeemed by heroine. He can stay vamp/demon/whatever, but for good. I also tend to read a bunch of books by a "new" author, newly discovered by me. I've just read a bunch of Jill Shalvis books. When I first read your books, I read all that I could.
