Explore! Get Out of Your Reading "Comfort Zone"
I've been reading African American romance novels since I was 14. And that is about 99% of what I've read ever since. Of course I jumped on the Twilight bandwagon and the 50 Shades, but other than that that's all I read. Or read (past tense ::winky face::).
I'm reading the most intriguing novel right now that has a little adventure, a mystery (which I use to love as a child) and of course a little romance brewing. Can't steer too far away lol.
Anyway my point is don't get stuck in one genre. There are so many out there to explore. Yes, I have my favorite authors and I will remain loyal. But I've been reading books by indie authors like myself and my eyes are being opened to a whole new world.
For some reason, I don't know why, I boxed myself in with one particular genre of reading. But now I'm reading outside of the box and find myself enjoying it immensely. But I suppose that is the beauty of being a true bookworm isn't it? No matter the genre, if it's a good book, you will get sucked in and captivated each and every time.
Happy Reading

P.S. The book I'm currently reading is Treasure Me by Christine Nolfi. I also follow her on Twitter.
