This is exactly what I was talking about in my earlier post: this woman loves Power Girl and she made an awesome Power Girl cosplay and she’s rockin’ it and looks fabulous and anybody who thinks otherwise ISN’T IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO HAVE AN OPINION.

Cosplay is about love. It’s about being a fan. It’s about enjoying something so much that it drives you to CREATE.  It’s about being so in love with a character that you want to be them, at least for a little while, or at least look as awesome as they do.

If you’re using cosplay to be an elitist then you’re going against the very nature of it and you’re saying that only certain kinds of finds that you deem fit can do what you decide is okay.  What does that sound like? A bully, that’s what.  

Love a character? Then cosplay the hell out of them! Rock on! The OP looks awesome and I hope she posts finished pics when she’s done.

You and this cosplay are wonderful, and you look amazing. There’s no doubt in my mind that Power Girl would be incredibly proud and honored by this. I don’t know much about Power Girl herself, but from what I do know she doesn’t seem to suffer bullies or idiots and neither should you. Anyone who gives you grief for this is not worth your notice and are really very pathetic. Both you and Power Girl are kickass awesome ladies.
