Writing Anxieties: Remembering Why You Do This

Why do I write? I haven’t asked myself that question for a little while now. Or, more to the point, given it serious thought. I think that's the thing - there is always someone doing 'something.' They used to talk about cities that never slept, but really, it's now the world that never sleeps. Not that it all stopped still before, but the internet has made it so much more obvious that while you sleep, someone else is beavering away at their work...

Yes, you're right about the need to adjust goals. I tend to get stubborn and think 'I made this plan and so I WILL stick with it', rather than sensibly seeing that the plan should be adjusted with the knowledge acquired since making the plan. :S
