The Drowsy Chaperone

Tim and I went to see this show at the Arts Centre last night. It was brilliant. I laughed so hard I cried!!

For a start , Geoffrey Rush was amazing. On film, even in comic roles, he always seems to have this grim centredness to him. He's always great, but there's a kind of gravity. But as the narrator in this story he is amazingly light and warm and free, and I adore everything he does on that stage.

The idea is that he is a guy who is sharing an old vinyl record with one of his favourite stag...
