How does it feel to be a published author?

It feels really good - it certainly feels like an achievement. The strangest thing about it is knowing that people from various places in the world are reading what you’ve written, and they could be doing it at any time. I could be sat at home eating a sandwich and somewhere somebody I don’t know could well be reading one of my stories.
