Resistances to the proposed settlement by the DOJ, Hachette, HarperCollins, and Simon & Schuster

On August 15, 2012, parties to the lawsuit were allowed to file a resistance, no longer than five pages, to the DOJ’s request that the court approve the proposed settlement between itself and three publishers. B&N and ABA were allowed to file amicus curea briefs (or friend of the court briefs), also limited to five pages.
