Learning Curve
A ‘learning curve’ is essentially this: you start doing something new and it’s hard and you have to struggle with it. As you learn more it becomes easier until you reach a point of some kind of mastery. That’s the ‘top’ of the learning curve and at that point you start to use what you know and the learning actually accelerates until you find yourself at a point where you seem to know nothing again and the whole cycle starts all over. I think I may be at the bottom of a ‘learning curve’ when it comes to writing. The thing is…I have a lot to learn.
