Connections

I am in the CONNECTIONS room, at Geek Girl Con, giving free one-on-one advice to aspiring comics/animation creators and writers, and answering questions and reviewing portfolios. I will be here doing this until 11:00 am!

At 11:30, I will be on a panel with some AWESOME guests called THE LAST OUTSIDER, discussing the portrayal of people with disabilities in media…this is not to be missed, the panelists are fantastic.

At 1:30, they have added a Spotlightlight panel for me, in room 205, moderated by hot new writing talent, Erica Helfin.

I am going to TRY to make it to the Womanthology panel later today but can’t guarantee it.

Also, some of my favorite tables for you to visit are Northwest Press (the premiere publisher of lgbtq comics in the country), Fantagraphics, GrayHaven Press (who do awesome anthology books), and Optimystical Studios, a jewelry maker who make Doctor Who and comics jewelry, they have a whole shelf of Secret Six stuff!

All these people are doing it right…please support them!
