We don't even have to pretend, because it DID totally happen.
Last night I was lucky enough to attend the book reading and signing by a one Jenny Lawson, aka, THE BLOGGESS.
Yeah. You know her.
Jenny was in town to promote her book, Let's Pretend This Never Happened (A Mostly True Memoir). And it was awesome, you guys! You know how, sometimes, when you meet people you've admired for a long time, seeing their actual face in front of your eyes for the first time is kind of like staring into the sun: you're a little momentarily blinded while your brain scrambles to mold together all of your past conceptions of what they might be like in person with what they're really like in person? Jenny was none of that. She was hilarious and upbeat and as whip-smart and hilarious in person as she is on her blog.
I feel bad for all you fools who didn't go.
So does Beyonce.
